Mary Ann, thank you so much for sharing this video. I am sure that the young folks today who parody this iconic poster have no idea under what circumstances the original was created. I learned something new as well, I had no idea that this poster was not distributed during WWII and was only recently discovered. I agree with the commentator in this video, the message is not one to be trivialized but should be remembered and honored as it was created. Thanks again, Deb
Ohh! This is a gem! I used to live near Alnwick, but I haven't visited there for years. I knew the poster was an unreleased wartime design and that it was found in a northern England bookshop, but I didn't know exactly where. This is a lovely little film and yes, it pinpoints exactly the universal appeal of the message.
And my, that looks like a lovely bookshop! Just perfect... Thank you SO MUCH for sharing!

I think it's a simple, yet important message to keep in mind--at all times. It's incredible that they found this...after all that time.
