Some sad news and some happy news.....

Remember George......

The Kiss
George passed away suddenly about a month ago. He went for his evening walk, came home and that was that. It was sudden, shocking and heartbreaking for all us who knew George. He was only 7 years old.

My granddaughter loved George and she kept looking for him when she went to her grandma's. So, it was decided that they would get a new dog. At first they were going to get a more mature dog but in the end they decided to take a puppy.......Emma.......

She is George's niece. The breeder decided to sell her as she would never be able to show her as poor Emma has several scars on her shoulder and back. She was attack by a terrier when she was even smaller.  She is about 3 months old now and a very sweet little thing. Best of all she adores my granddaughter.

So it was sad that we lost George but now Emma has a loving home.

Take care:)

  1. George was lovely. I used to have one of those. His name was Shorty. We had him until he was over 12 years old!

  5. Aw, the circle of life. As much as your heart swells with love--it feels like it hurts tenfold when you lose someone you love. Sometimes we just lose those guys way too early. :(

Love that Emma! She sure is a cutie! And what a nice way to remember George and to honor his memory.

  7. Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. It must have been an awful shock, as he was only seven. He looks so loveable, too.

But Emma looks a sweetheart. Puppy love.

(PS. Did you take those pictures? They're really lovely)
