Crazy Quilt Journal Project 2024 - Zodiac Sign - Cancer


Cancer: The Crab

  • Colour - Silver
  • Element - Water
  • Cancer Zodiac Colour Palette - Seafoam Green, Blue, White
  • Cancer Zodiac No-Nos - Black, Burgundy
I used the following DMC shades for seafoam green: 964 light seagreen, 959 medium seagreen, 958 dark seagreen, 3812 very dark seagreen 


When I started matching shades of blue to the seagreen threads I found that some shades of blue really clashed. I decided to use blue threads and fabrics that tended towards grey. 

Not the greatest day to take a picture inside. Very dull and gloomy.  I had to use my Ott-Lite. Now that I see the pic, that huge white space in the middle is a bit glaring. Ah well.
