Shrove Tuesday......

Don't forget to put on your apron and your bonnet and toss those pancakes in the time old tradition of Onley, Buckinghamshire where they have been pancake racing for 569 years.

You can't say you don't learn daft stuff on this blog can you:)

I'm trying out a new pancake recipe this year...oatmeal pancakes. They are the recipe for the month of February on my calendar. I've been staring at them for 28 days.

Take care:)

  1. Never heard of this pancake race before. It looks like fun and a tab bit silly. Are they really flipping those pancakes in the air?
Enjoy your oatmeal pancakes, sounds yummy.

  3. Every year I mean to make pancakes and every year I forget.
Every year I mean to give up something for Lent and every year I know I am too selfish to give up anything. Every year I know I will eat too many Easter eggs and hot cross buns.
Every year I know how predictable I am.

If you leave a comment and I don't respond it's because I didn't get an email notice. It could be because you are a "no reply" blogger. Here is a way to fix that......http://morefromyourblog.com/no-reply-blogger-how-to-fix-this/
