Patchwork Christmas Tree....

I found a perfect project on Sew What's New for all those teeny tiny bits of scrap fabric that I have hanging around and I thought I'd share it......

TeresaDownUnder
It's from a blog called My Patchwork and the blogger...TeresaDownUnder......has a photo tutorial that you can find...here.

I'm not a quilter but I think I could manage these:)

Take care:)

  4. The secret to quilting is to use a 1/4 inch seam allowance and don't open the seams--press both to the dark fabric. Do strips of the squares and then pin the strips together. The secret to the accuracy at the corners is in the pinning.

    Good luck--these are adorable!

  5. Erm..... well...... I haven't a clue about quilting....and I'm sat here trying to think of a way to make them in one colour ...hahahha.. maybe a circle... then make it into a cone..then.... glue or stitch some other colours on, and then... oh, man... it would be better to learn some quilting....or.... make something else because by then it just wouldn't look nearly as cool ..... ..hahhaha....silly me....

If you leave a comment and I don't respond it's because I didn't get an email notice. It could be because you are a "no reply" blogger. Here is a way to fix that......http://morefromyourblog.com/no-reply-blogger-how-to-fix-this/
