Your ORT jar always looks so pretty with those colorful threads. I too collect the cast off threads but instead of placing them in a jar, I separate the colors into baggies.
I used to do that too but I find it easier to sift through my ORT jar when I'm looking for a small piece I can use up. I think I started using the jar about 6 years ago and now it's a habit.
Oh, I’ve just remembered I need to add the last ORTs to my 2018 jar tonight! Your jar is very colourful! I’ve found my jar very useful this year, especially for finding small pieces of cotton to mark the centre on cross stitch pieces. Happy Stitching in 2019! Barbara xx
If you leave a comment and I don't respond it's because I didn't get an email notice. It could be because you are a "no reply" blogger. Here is a way to fix that......http://morefromyourblog.com/no-reply-blogger-how-to-fix-this/
Your ORT jar is filling up! And interesting to know that the full moon is called the Cold Moon - very fitting!
ReplyDeleteYes I've been doing TAST and a few other bits and pieces.
