TUSAL 2018...and the Full Moon for December

My ORT jar.....
The last full moon in 2018 is called the Cold Moon. It is also called Long Nights Moon, and the Moon before Yule.
I'm a bit late with my post on here but I did manage to get my post on Facebook on the right day :)

Your ORT jar is filling up! And interesting to know that the full moon is called the Cold Moon - very fitting!

DeleteYour ORT jar always looks so pretty with those colorful threads. I too collect the cast off threads but instead of placing them in a jar, I separate the colors into baggies.
ReplyDeleteI used to do that too but I find it easier to sift through my ORT jar when I'm looking for a small piece I can use up. I think I started using the jar about 6 years ago and now it's a habit.

I’ve found my jar very useful this year, especially for finding small pieces of cotton to mark the centre on cross stitch pieces.
