Monthly Make-it Challenge for March 2012

I have three makes to show for the month of March......

Here is a little Woodland Elf that I made from a pattern by Gingermelon Designs. She is very tiny and sweet and I have already started a few more:)

Here is my version of Humpty Dumpty that I made for an online challenge over at Cloth Doll Artistry.

And, finally my Steampunk Fox also for a challenge at CDA.

Humpty Dumpty and the Steampunk Fox are my own original designs.

I have been a bit busier this month sewing and crafting. I have a long term project for an Alice in Wonderland challenge that I haven't started yet because there are so many possible characters to make....I just can't decide.

The weather has been absolutely wonderful here. I hope this bodes well for the rest of the summer:) The leaves of the daffodils and iris have started showing so it won't be long before they bloom....and, we have buds on some of our trees and bushes. Spring has sprung...it's about time:)

Monthly Make for February....

I join in the Monthly Make Challenge hosted by The Felt Fairy but I can't reveal my February makes yet as they are part of two challenges that I am participating in. I can show them later in the month....after March 20th.

I just wanted to put it down on record that I did do something:)

I took a picture this morning through the back window of the light cover of snow we got last night....looks pretty I guess:(  The building at the left of the picture is our garage and there is more garden behind it.....with more snow. The thing in the middle on the trellis is a trumpet vine that goes crazy every year but it's quite beautiful and attracts hummingbirds and Baltimore Oriels....sigh.......where or where is spring?

 And finally...here are some screen shots from a video taken by my son at Thanksgiving last October of my little granddaughter (she was 15 months at the time) and her friend George. George is a  bulldog that belongs to her other granny. A lot of people....men mostly.... are intimidated by George as he is rather large......if they only knew what a big smushy face he is:)

This last picture is for Famfa....look at this crochet purse!!!!!!  Famfa and I both received round purse handles from The Felt Fairy...I have been pondering what to do with them:)
